Documentaries on contemporary music composers in 3rd ISMA
Each film in the series that will be screened at the 3rd ISMA focusing on contemporary music explores the world of a particular composer via one or more works, with the composers and their most famous interpreters playing an active part in the process of elucidation. She was born in 1966, in Veria, a small town in Northern Greece. She studied Physics in the University of Thessaloniki, and Music in her hometown and Thessaloniki. Since her graduation, and until today, she had (and still has) lessons with famous Greek and foreign Piano professors, through master classes and private lessons. Despite a small number of solo recitals and some chamber music concerts, her core occupation is teaching, which she does for 26 years. Many of her pupils have made it to Greek and foreign Universities, and have won awards and distinctions in piano competitions. She has been a member in committees in various piano competitions. In 2012 she was offered a position for the ʽMA on instrumental teachingʼ held in the University of Reading (UK)
